The global political process and the specifics of its development in the Middle East

The article examines the content of the modern global political process and especially its development in the Middle East: unsettled Arab-Israeli conflict; unresolved Palestinian problem; instability in a number of Arab countries in the Middle East; current armed conflicts; interference of external to the region geopolitical actors into the regional political process; ineffective system of regional security. The authors conclude that the Middle East region continues to be the hub of world problems and in modern conditions is the main generator of the entire global political process.
