Worldview function of the constitution: its role and value

Purpose: Research of the worldview function of the constitution. Methodology: Formal - legal and historical approaches were used. Results: The constitution and sectoral legislation are not as perfect in terms of world outlook as the life itself demands. What is the significance of the worldview function of the Constitution as the Basic Law of the state? What tasks does it perform in the process of setting goals? These and other issues are of great importance for the development of the state and its legislation. Underestimation of this important feature of the Constitution can lead to serious consequences for the state and society. The most important tasks of the worldview function are consolidating, motivational; sacralizing; goal-setting; axiological; special; doctrinal; positioning; narrative-instructive; educational; ideological; and legal tasks. The author establishes and formulates his position on the worldview function of the Constitution as one of the most important features affecting public consciousness and social relations. Novelty/originality/value: The article has a certain scientific value, because original generalizations based on previously published works were made on the selected issues by the author.
