Global trends in the development of intelligent transport systems

The article examines the international experience and trends in the introduction of intelligent transport systems and their impact on increasing the rate of economic growth. International experience in the implementation of information technologies in road transport infrastructure proves its effectiveness in practice, ensuring the safety of all road users. The Russian intelligent transport system is still imperfect and lags behind the world leaders in development. It is necessary to abandon the implementation of separate functional solutions in favor of using a unified information system of control and management.
