Multiparticle statistical model of the solar wind

Бесплатный доступ

The statistical approach to modeling of plasma (gas) flows which macroscopic parameters are measured with finite instrumental resolution scales [1-3] is presented. This approach is based on the Liuoville theorem for an open system assumed to be in detailed dynamic balance with surroundings. By considering finite instrumental resolution scales we come to description of plasma (gas) by multiparticle distribution functions. The latter ones serve for deriving probability distributions of fluctuations and corresponding macroscopic parameters. The multiparticle statistical approach produces under some assumptions the stationary solar wind model whose results (macroscopic parameters) coincide with the two-particle kinetic model [4] and are consistent with in-ecliptic observational data.
