Large family in cultural policy: the problem of attendance of cultural institutions

The article analyzes the situation with the availability of cultural institutions for the least socially protected groups of the population. On the basis of extensive research material obtained in the course of sociological research, the processes related to the attendance of cultural institutions, the availability of tickets for privileged categories of viewers, the openness of the information environment, the willingness of administrations to work with privileged categories of visitors are studied. The study makes recommendations for the further growth of attendance of cultural institutions, it is proposed a legislative initiative on the quota and allocation mechanism of preferential tickets. It is concluded that there is a need for greater participation of the state in attracting socially vulnerable groups to cultural institutions.
