The article discusses one of the approaches to the choice of assessment method for teachers of secondary and higher educational institutions with the use of the multicriteria evaluation method. As a method, a simplified analytic hierarchy process was chosen. The most common methods for assessing teachers were analyzed and criteria for their selection were formulated.
