In recent years, there has been an increase in the number of migrant workers in Russia, and they have a generally positive perception of the local population. However, many of these workers have difficulty communicating in Russian, the official language of the country. This was shown in our survey of migrant students who combine work and study. Additionally, many of them lack professional qualifications, which can negatively affect organizations and businesses. Currently, many workplaces, especially in the larger cities, are multicultural. These workplaces present unique challenges for management, as they require special attention to cultural differences and communication barriers.. The fact is that employees from different national backgrounds, representing different cultures, often have significantly different mindsets, views, and patterns of behavior. They also use different methods for solving problems. Sometimes, this can lead to contradictions, disagreements, and even conflicts. This requires employers to be careful when selecting and employing migrant workers and foreign nationals. Employers should use modern methods for selecting and evaluating candidates to avoid potential issues. From the managers of relevant work teams, competent management of these teams, timely diagnosis of potential conflicts, and other situations is essential.. At the same time, teams with diverse personnel and cultural backgrounds provide organizations with several benefits, including additional intellectual capital that should be maximized. It is advisable to actively involve employees from different nationalities in the analysis, evaluation, and prediction of market trends for relevant products and services, as well as in identifying and evaluating alternative solutions. This also involves the development and implementation of innovative technologies. This process imposes certain requirements on modern managers. They need to possess the necessary intercultural competencies in order to work effectively in multinational teams and navigate intercultural situations appropriately. These skills include the ability to collaborate with people from diverse backgrounds, communicate effectively, and understand different cultural norms and values.
