Mobile devices and applications in education: a necessity or keeping up with the times

The present article discusses the significance of mobile devices and applications in educational process and also shows the capabilities of these devices. A monitoring of mobile services“ usage in the world“s leading univeristies is given. The article covers requirements which mobile educational content should meet. Also the article studies some questions of the state program named «Digital Kazakhstan», developed on the basis of the Message of the President of the Republic of Kazkhstan «Third Modernization of Kazkhstan: Global Competitiveness».
