In the article mobile phone as about a thing - аs a symbol and as a mediator of modern communications, - is described. In Zimmel's methodology style artefact and phenomenological status of mobile telephone in the structure of modern communications is considered. Its subject, symbolic borders, thing parameters and communication-intermediary specific are marked.
