In recent years, there has been a tendency to introduce individual educational trajectories into the educational process in many Russian universities. This is largely due to the launch of the Priority 2030 program. Individualization contributes to greater disclosure of the potential of students, and the use of individual educational trajectories (IET) can help meet the needs of the labor market for highly qualified personnel. The article examines the experience of Ulyanovsk State University in implementing a model of individualization of education based on university elective courses. The author analyzes the results of the project implementation in 2021 and 2022, the impact of the use of the recommendation service on student satisfaction with the selected courses, and draws conclusions about the further use of the project results in the design of individual educational trajectories at the university.
