The article gives a brief overview of research on the automation of flotation enrichment. The basic shortcomings of existing systems and ways of regulation of parameters of this process, which are low performance, errors, generate the control action and the lack of stabilization of the pulp density in the mixer. In the article, the conclusion about the relevance of development of ACS by mixing pulp before the flotation, which will allow you to maintain at a predetermined level specified variable. As a method of investigation, the simulation with use of software package Matlab Simulink. While a mathematical description of such model elements of the ACS, as a valve, agitator, pump, PID controller. The result of simulation timing diagram reflecting the principle of stabilization of the pulp density by manipulation of the water flow in the mixer by an abrupt change in the density of the solid phase in the slurry and its flow. At the end of the paper the conclusions about possibility of use of ACS in the industrial control system at mining enterprises, as the work model of the system showed satisfactory results for the control density with a small overshoot and time regulation.
