Cooperation model between the Russian Orthodox Church, state and society as a part of preservation and development of demographic and natural potential (on the example of the Gorodets diocese)

In the article, the author considers the experience of the Gorodets Diocese, which implements programs in the field of demographic, spiritual and moral renewal of Russia in cooperation with regional and municipal authorities, scientists, teachers, cultural and health workers. The main goal of the programs is to restore the Orthodox type of personality and the way of life of people. Through immersion in history, original culture, natural environment of the native land, active service, the values, meanings, consciousness of young people are renewed, the «motivation of death» (addictions, abortions, anomie, hedonism) is overcoming. The experience of the diocese in restoring the spiritual foundations of the population's life was voiced and supported when discussing the strategy of the demographic policy of Russia and the roadmap for increasing the birth rate in the regions of Russia.
