The article examines the role of scientific and technological consortia in the transfer of knowledge and technology from the academic environment to the real sector of the economy, as well as their impact on innovative development in Russia. The importance of consortia in conditions of economic crisis is analyzed. The consequences of insufficient funding for science and education are discussed, as well as the dependence of the Russian economy on imports. The paper presents the results of the implementation of national projects aimed at the development of science and technology, and an assessment of their effectiveness. Measures are proposed to increase the efficiency of consortia and improve the scientific and technological potential of Russia.
