Model of sustainable development as a model of guided social stability

The article substantiates a thesis that as far as social reality is dynamic and variable, destination of a management institution is qualification of social environment as a factor leading and determining formation of cultural patterns rather than identifying itself as a mechanism of their reproduction. The author defines such concepts as sustainable development and guided social stability, and concludes that owing to the guided development its sustainability becomes possible.
