The models of disability in the Norwegian research tradition

The article deals with the main models of disability applied in the Norwegian research tradition. The author describes their positive and negative points. The disability models classification is supplemented with the BEPS-model developed by a Norwegian researcher Terje Binder. It includes such components as biological / organic conditions, environmental factors, psychological, society-related conditions. It has been found that this model takes into account a number of factors allowing to solve the problems associated with disabilities.
