Models of judicial review of constitutionality in Asia (the case of individual constitutional review bodies in the countries of East and Southeast Asia)

The article is devoted to the analysis of models of constitutional justice in East and Southeast Asia. We have described models existing in the region, as well as powers of constitutional judicial review bodies. It is concluded that the chosen model of constitutional review is not so important, but it should correspond to the national legal tradition, contribute to ensuring the supremacy and direct effect of the Constitution and protecting human and civil rights and freedoms.
