Using the method of electromagnetic impedance and Ingebrigtsen's approximation, we have obtained a dispersion equation for description of surface Rayleigh-type waves in a piezoelectric substrate-liquid layer system. The article considers a model of interaction between surface acoustic waves and the electronic subsystem of fluid in a layer. We have analyzed the influence of changed conditions of surface wave propagation on their parameters in the studied layered system. The features of acousto-electric interaction during surface acoustic wave propagation along the boundary of piezoelectric half-space and half-space, containing the liquid layer and vacuum (gas), are considered within the framework of impedance approach. It is shown that the amplitude and velocity of surface waves change due to the interaction of electric fields accompanying elastic perturbations in the piezoelectric with fluid in the layer, i. e. acousto-electric interaction.
