The authors have proposed and investigated a mathematical model of the «predator - 2 preys» system describing the population dynamics of herbivorous animals and two types of vegetation. It is assumed that herbivorous eat competing plants with different intensity. The research demonstrates a possibility of stable coexistence of interacting species - under certain values of the population parameters. It has been studied the scenarios for the emergence of oscillatory modes in the system.
