Modeling of the two-dimensional electric field of a single round wire over a grounded plate using the conformal mapping method

The article is devoted to the issue of modeling the electric field using the conformal mapping method. The essence of this method is revealed. The author obtained an expression based on the calculation of a complex two-dimensional electric field of a round wire over a grounded plate. At the same time, the field itself is heterogeneous. The resulting solution is quite simple. Which indicates the effectiveness of this method. The obtained result can be useful for calculating a number of engineering problems in the field of modeling electric fields of complex systems in order to reduce losses during the transmission of electricity.
