Model of shock wave front caused by stoichiometric gas mixtures combustion

The paper deals with the problem of propagation of the compression front of a spherical shock wave formed by the instantaneous combustion of stoichiometric mixtures of a fuel oxidizer. To physically justify some assumptions for the spherical case, we describe a model with analytical equations of front motion for which the characteristic time and radius of the transition of a shock wave to an acoustic wave are estimated. In addition, we consider the problem of combining linearly arranged spherical shock fronts produced by several explosions to form a cylindrical front.
