Simulation of a pulsed hydrogen fluoride laser emitting at purely rotational transitions

Бесплатный доступ

The possibility of obtaining efficient emission at purely rotational transitions of HF molecules in a pulsed chemical H2-F2-laser is studied theoretically. The operation of a hydrogen fluoride laser with a gas pressure of 1.1 atm emitting at the v,j →v,j-1 (v = 0 - 5, j = 11 - 19) transitions is simulated taking into account resonance VR processes. The calculated specific laser energy on purely rotational transitions is 0.5 - 0.6 JL-1 at v = 0 - 2, j = 19, 18 (wave length is 14 - 15,5 мm) and 0.5 - 0.9 JL-1 at v = 2 - 4, j = 14, 13 (wave length is 19 - 22 мm).
