Mathematical simulation issues of energy characteristics of electrodynamic wire rope systems are considered. The mathematical model of electrodynamic wire rope system is developed. This model allows dependence of system characteristics versus orbital position and rope parameters as well as the area of the most effective utilization of the systems as spacecraft power supply to be determined.
