Modeling of function parameters for a star-shaped passive optical network on an user's segment

The article is devoted to research of an opportunity of function expansion for passive optical networks with application special star-shaped splitter. It allows on a user's segment to apply the protocol of interaction with addresses and by that partially to unload central station. The mathematical modeling of interaction process of user's units among themselves for a case of an equilibrium condition of a network is executed. Are received probably ratio for a network conditions, some network parameters describing function and interactions are determined, and their optimum ranges of meanings are found. Is shown, that with growth of the information messages lengths it is required to increase characteristic «hardware» times, or to apply the more high-speed equipment.
