The article reveals the problems of the mathematical description of the surface by portions of the triangular form, with reference to problems of structural design. The equations of curved triangular surface portions using a generalized linear interpolation are given. Cubic splines in the form of Hermite were used to describe the boundary curves of the surface portions.
