Modelling of the processes forming scientific-methodical competencies of university teachers in the course of upgrading their qualification

The article analyses the contradictions between the requirements of a modern higher educational process in its modernization and the level of scientific and methodical competences of teachers of higher schools, systemizes typical methodical difficulties and specific methodological activities of lecturers; grounds the components and indicators of modeling the processes forming scientific and methodical competences of teachers during their training. In the context of the current objective reality, there is a need to create conditions to support teachers of higher educational institutions within the system of qualification upgrading. First of all, it is necessary to ensure the quality of teachers’ training, improvement of methodical competence of teachers of the universities of the Interior Ministry of Russia, what is carried out at the level of particular conditions: organization of methodical-oriented learning processes based on planning and monitoring; determination of criteria and methodology for assessment of methodical competence of the teacher of high school. Today, when education quality assessment methods are developed, the scientific and methodical level of teachers is one of the basic criteria of quality.
