In this paper, using the finite element method, a comparative study on bending schemes of standard titanium perforated reconstruction plates used in the reconstruction of mandibular defects is presented. Currently, there is a need for equipment for high-precision bending of perforated plates, with the purpose of сreating a specific geometry that follows the natural curvature of the patient’s jaw. The personalization of the implant allows to restore the natural symmetry of the patient’s face and, therefore, accelerate the process of his social reintegration. The article compares six bending schemes corresponding to different bending directions, angles and levers. The results obtained allow to understand the specificities of the process, evaluate its strain characteristics and elastic springback after bending, which are necessary for the development of equipment for bending personalized implants.
