Modeling the translation process: revisiting punctuation

The article offers an algorithm to use when dealing with punctuation arrangement in the translation process. The algorithm is based on the psycholinguistic significancy translation model and aims to avoid punctuation transfer in translation. The procedure is offered for English-Russian translations, with examples demonstrating how it works in English to Russian and Russian to English directions.
