The article substantiates the need for modernization of the structure of the economy and the transformation of industry structure-forming sector of the Republic of Dagestan of the economy. Directions of structural industrial policy in the region from the perspective of the Strategy of socio-economic development of the Republic of Dagestan till 2025.
