Service modernization and educational policy in the Russian Federation

The service development is a universal progressive socio-economic restructuring process in the social production employment, which rests on increasing pace of development and improvement of its infrastructure. Educational policy in the sphere of service depends on the objectives of socio-economic modernization in the Russian Federation and the need for strengthening the international prestige of the country thanks to joining the international information arena. The paper discusses the process of establishing multilevel systems of lifelong education--certified training for all levels of service should produce professionals who are competitive to play in the domestic and international labor market.
