In article the purpose and problems of modernization of a control system of cultural institutions in modern conditions is formulated, the main directions of modernization of a control system of cultural institutions in municipalities are considered. The author reveals the essence of the project activity and revealed the specifics of the design of modernization of cultural institutions management system, disclosed the content of the main stages of the development of the modernization of cultural institutions management projects. The author reveals the problems of developing modernization projects based on the study of practical experience in the development and implementation of cultural institutions management modernization projects in the Perm region.
