Modernization of social education in the regional space of Russia (on materials of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic)

Introduction. The article is devoted to the modernization of social education at the regional level. Many developed countries are facing social disharmony as a result of the economic downturn. The main reasons for this are unemployment, poverty, marginalization, which needs to be resolved. Education is almost the decisive factor in social well-being. In the development strategy of modern society, the integration of educational systems in Europe, this problem has become particularly acute. For supporters of the liberal concept that serves as the ideological basis of globalization, education is an integral part of the market. Obviously, instead of the “globalization model” leading to education based on market regulation, another is needed - it is modernization that can change the vector of education. Methods. The relevance of the study is due to the regional aspect of higher education. The object of study was the student youth of Kabardino-Balkar State University named after H.M. Berbekov (KBSU). The University over the past years is among the ten best educational institutions of the North Caucasus region; subject is modernization of the educational process. At each stage of the study the object and subject of the study were adjusted. This is due to the multifaceted study of a particular issue. The research is conducted over the past five years. It involves educational institutions: the KBSU and the North-Ossetian State University (NOSU). One of the active methods was the survey. The article discusses aspects of the significance of social education of a number of domestic scientists. Their ideas formed the basis of regional universities, including the KBR. The aim is to explore the issue of quality training of social workers at the regional level. One of the objectives of this study is to identify new scientific knowledge about the sociality of modernization, to identify the contradictions of the process of modernization of education. This article will reveal the essence of the concepts of “modernization”, “social education” and introduce the results of the study of a regional university. The stated problem is still not well understood. The educational space creates conditions for new forms of improvement, the areas of professional training are updated. Results. In this study we will try to give our interpretation of such concepts as “modernization of social education”, “modernization processes in education”. These terms did not find due attention in the researches analyzed by us. Their further introduction into the thesaurus of national science is the future development of social cognition. Conclusions. Modernization of the Russian education, in fact, is the most important task of the new form of existence and further development, designed to update the educational space, give it a new form and subsequently improve such professional activities as social education.
