Modernization of the content of technological education as a means of professional self-determination of the future teacher

The article analyzes a number of related concepts: "profession", "specialty", "professionalism", "professional self-determination", "professional self-awareness" in order to reveal the essence and understanding of the specifics of the process during the training and education of the individual in the conditions of the university. Pedagogical conditions that affect the effectiveness of professional self-determination of an individual on the basis of an activity approach are also presented, in the context of modernizing the content of technological education.
