Modernization and transformation processes in political systems of Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan in the transit period

This article will analyze the processes of modernizing and reforming the political systems of Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan in the transitional and post-transitional period from the totalitarian, communist political regime to liberal democratic principles. For both states, this period turned out to be difficult and controversial in order to step over from socialist social relations to a liberal-democratic arrangement.
