Interaction of fluorine and chlorine molecules with pyrolyzed polyacrylonitrile

This article discusses modifications of fingerprint powders during forensic examinations. With the help of theoretical calculations using the MNDO method, a structure was found for modifying fingerprint powders, in order to collect, along with fingerprints, the substance that a smoker leaves - cotinine.
