TVD scheme modification for negative velosity of a one-dimensional shock wave

The problem of direct numerical simulation of a one-dimensional shock wave by TVD scheme for Euler's equations is solved. It is shown, that for negative velocity of the shock wave the TVD scheme has large numerical viscosity. The scheme has been modificated by introducing a specular reflection of a flow relative to its central node for a data transfer to a calculation subroutine and its re-reflection for a result obtaining. The simulation results are compared with the exact Godunov's solution of a discontinuities decay problem. The results accuracy of the modificated TVD scheme for negative velocity are almost coincide with ones of the original TVD scheme for positive velocity of the shock wave. Thus, the accuracy of the scheme is preserved.
