Modification of extract genre in Georgy Ivanov’s and Boris Ryzhy’s lyrics

The article compares the poetics of Georgy Ivanov and Boris Ryzhy in their appeal to extract genre, and reveals new modifications of the genre, which are actualized in poems of the poets. Ivanov’s experience have become the defining factor in Ryzhy's attention to this genre. The authors' appeal to extract genre is determined by special sincerity and fragmentarity of their lyrics. Herewith Ryzhy's poetry contains examples of a parody on excerpt and its characteristic features right up to reduction of the final word. Being poets of the 20th century, Ivanov and Ryzhy in their interest in extract genre are the continuers of the Golden Age of Russian poetry, which researchers call the time of the widest spread of extract genre.
