The article is devoted to the problem of valeologization of the teaching of chemistry in the general education school. The relevance of introducing the valeological component into the pedagogical process is shown. The data of the experiment on the introduction of the module on chemistry "Non-metals and human health in the Tula region". The urgency of using the regional component in chemistry lessons is shown.
