These finds were retrieved in 2014 by localspecialists from the Department for Protection of Historical Sites in the Chechen Republicin the course of urgent excavations caused by extreme conditions (erosion caused byspring flooding, agricultural activities, etc.) within the area of the burial ground. In termsof their quantity and quality, these materials dated to the 10th-8th centuries BC (fig. 1-4),especially, such exclusive items as a bronze open-work bracelet (fig. 1: 8) and a bronzeornamented battle axe (fig. 4: III), are of exceptional value for clarification of the overallcharacteristics of the site. Their typological classification and chronology were defined. The paper highlights a need to reinforce protection of the cemetery because of imminentthreat of damage due to natural erosion and the social factor.
