The possibility of barium ions replacement strontium ions in layered sheelitosimilar structure Li3Ba2R3 (MoO4) 8 (sp. gr. С/2с) is studied. Molibdates Li3BaSrR3 (MoO4)8, which had been investigated by X-ray methods, differential thermal analysis and IR-spectroscopy, were synthesized.
