Young people as the main resource of «color revolutions»

The article analyzes the problem of youth involvement in destructive activities of extremist organizations. The author raises the question of the role of the young generation in the events and processes, conventionally called «colour revolutions». The article discusses the concept of «colour revolution», analyzes the objectives and driving forces of this socio-political phenomenon. The author concludes that in the events of «colour revolutions» youth advocates are not the subject of political processes, but the object of manipulation and the mean of achieving the objectives of the «directors» of these «revolutions». As a result the key conclusion of the author is that the effective state youth policy can be and has to become one of the key tools in the system of counteraction of «colour revolution» in Russia.
