Youth policy through the eyes of student youth

The article presents the results of the research devoted to studying the characteristics of youth policy of the Krasnodar Territory by representatives of student youth. The empirical basis of the study is the materials of focus group discussions with young students from four municipalities of the Krasnodar Territory. There was also an expert session with specialists implementing youth policy, social educators, administration workers, social work specialists and representatives of the employment center, who advance its interests at meetings and in the Commission on Juvenile Affairs. It was determined that the students' ideas about the structure and goals of the youth policy of the region are clear and consistent. However, the results of group discussions showed that the tools used by youth policy actors have a number of limitations associated with institutional and communication barriers between young people and youth policy specialists. For the effective implementation of youth policy, it is necessary to introduce a practice-oriented system for evaluating its effectiveness, which will include parameters that reflect the interest of young people in integration into youth projects as active subjects.
