Youth Policy at Pacific National University: Experience and Prospects of One of the Leading Universities of the Russian Far East

The article presents a comprehensive analysis of the development of Pacific National University (PNU), with a focus on the evolution of state youth policy and educational activities in the context of historical transformations and contemporary strategic priorities. The study covers the period from the university’s founding in 1958 to the present, examining the relationship between nationwide youth policy frameworks and their implementation within the university environment. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of extracurricular activities, student self-governance, patriotic education, volunteerism, and the system of social support for students. An integrated approach is employed that includes historical and comparative analysis, a review of the regulatory framework, and an assessment of statistical data on the university’s educational and social activities.
