Youth and career: features of building a career trajectory by youth in modern realities

The paper examines the problem of youth employment. The main research method used was a sociological survey. 9,297 respondents were interviewed-students of higher education institutions aged 18 to 35; the median age of respondents was 20. According to the survey results, some of the main opportunities for young people are obtaining a quality education, obtaining a prestigious, highly paid job, and the opportunity to travel around Russia. According to the survey results, the main fears of young people are finding themselves in a situation of lack of material resources for existence and experiencing problems with employment.
