The paper examines materials from the complexes of the monk graves in the cemetery of the St. George Cathedral in the St. George (Yuriev) Monastery. In the past the Novgorod architectural team of the Novgorod archaeological expedition identified a large cemetery operational in the area adjacent to the cathedral. By the start-up of the 2023 season 105 graves were identified and examined; given the context, 15 burials can be interpreted as monk graves. The paper describes multiple graves made in whitestone sarcophagi as well as in-ground burials that can be identified as monk graves.
