Mongolia and the Countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States in the 2020s

The article is devoted to the relations of Mongolia with the CIS countries in the 2020s. The logical extension of Mongolia's international cooperation in the modern world should have been relations with the CIS countries. However, the realities of the new democratic era if not have pushed these promising relations into the background, but put them on a long foreign policy pause. At the same time, the geopolitical realities of the first quarter of the 21st century dictate an active foreign policy agenda, promoting various scenarios of interaction. Therefore, the subject of our study is of particular interest, we will try to identify the trends and nature of Mongolia's bilateral relations with the CIS countries with which a noticeable foreign policy dialogue has intensified.
