Mongolia in 1911-1913: (contemporary Russian and Mongolian historiography)

The article analyzes the contemporary historiography of the Xinhai Revolution (1911-1913) in China, which was the starting point of Mongolian statehood. Russian and Mongolian monographs, edited volumes and materials of the scientific conferences are analyzed. During the recent years one could find a new rise of scholarly interest to the Xinhai Revolution as well as to the 100th anniversary of signing of the trilateral Kyakhta agreement (it was signed in 1915 by the Mongolian, Russian and Chinese sides), that recognized the Outer Mongolia as an autonomous region of China.
