Mongolia: from the revolution of 1921 till independence

The article discusses the features of the political development of Mongolia since 1921, analyzes the key problems of formation of the Mongolian state. The revolution of 1921 was a turning point in the history of Mongolia, which continued the long struggle for national independence and the determination of the international legal status. Mongolia faced a choice in the difficult geopolitical situation and the only reliable ally and guarantor of its independence and sovereignty was Soviet Russia, which played a significant role in its further historical development.
