Mongolian-Russian strategic partnership in 1990s -2000s

The article is devoted to the Mongolian-Russian strategic partnership in the post-Soviet period. Mongolia and Russia have gone through a path of serious transformations, which seriously affected foreign policy, the rules of the game, and the setting of priorities. Mongolia is promoting its independent foreign policy, but objectively, Russia remains one of the most important strategic partners of Mongolia. The author shows, how the nature of the relationship has changed from weakening to an all-encompassing strategic partnership.
