Mongols in political views and geopolitical practice of Hong-taiji (Abahai) during the formation of the Manchurian empire: the historiography and source studies

In the article we reconstruct and study the key aspects of the policy of Hong-Taiji (Aba- hai) - a founder of the Qing Dynasty - in relation to the Mongols during the foundation of the Manchu Empire based on the analysis of the concepts that have been established in domestic and foreign historiography. The article considers the political, legal, economic and cultural aspects of incorporating the Mongols into the Manchu state from the perspective of the historical monument “Daichin ulsyn mongolyn magad khuul” (“True Records of the Mongols of the Qing Empire”).
