Phytophenological observations are carried on the 81 species out on 5 permanent sample plots using the method of I. N. Beideman in the reserve. The indicator of dryness was chosen to analyze the impact of weather conditions on plants. The phase of " blooming" and "fruiting" was chosen as an important phenological stages. The negative correlation between the year and the index of aridity revealed as a result of the correlation analysis confirms the tendency to aridization of the climate in Barguzinsky reserve. The analysis of time-shifting phenophases relatively the registration time of the aridity index shows the correlation of mass fruiting and blooming phenophases is observed at all sites and for the all ten-day periods of observation. The negative correlation between the year and the number of species bearing fruit indicates a decrease in the fertility of the observed species, which confirms the positive relationship between the dryness index and the number of species bearing fruit. The analysis showed that the values of the aridity index can be used for objective characteristics of biotopes and the forecast of productivity of plant seeds.
